Dodgers do it again

The Dodgers improved to 11-0 at home this season, the franchise’s best home record to start a season in franchise history, with a 7-2 win over the Diamondbacks…plenty of interesting stuff in this one…a triple play and back-to-back home runs by Manny Ramirez and Andre Ethier in the first inning. Ramirez was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI and one run scored. Jonathan Broxton needed just 12 pitches to get through the ninth. Obviously, there was no save situation, but Joe Torre surely probably just wanted to keep him sharp. Jeff Weaver makes his first start of the season with the Dodgers tomorrow. The Dodgers have the best record in baseball at 19-8 (11 games over .500) and have a 5 1/2-game lead over San Francisco.
