Dodgers tie ML record, win 12th straight at home

JBrox just closed it out. The Dodgers now own the NL record for consecutive home wins and have tied the 1911 Tigers all-time record. Just how good are these guys?

    Nice polling graphic, Ramona!

Orlando Hudson’s defense was certainly the story of this game. He was phenomenal, especially when Ethier spaced out on that fly ball.

Does anyone know why he changed his uniform number on opening day from 30 to 13? I guess he respects Maury Wills too much.

    Good poll, shamonarona.

I agree Buddy. Every time I see O-Dawg dive, I get worried because of that horrible injury he had last year.

But he really seems to recognize that the way you get hurt is when you play to protect something like that, do something you’re not used to doing, and land awkwardly.

So far, I don’t sense any hesitation from him, which speaks as much to his courage as his smarts.

best start was in ’77 when they opened the season 30-9…not gonna happen this time.

This is truly a great accomplishment, tying a record that stood for 98 years. It may go unmentioned for decades until some team approaches the mark, but every time some team does, everybody will hear about it.__ Only the 2009 Dodgers and 1911 Tigers have done it.__Good Luck Tonight.
