Orlando Hudson has paid tribute to Jackie Robinson quite frequently this season. But tonight’s tribute was the best so far this year.
Of his diving catch – with his back turned toward home plate – in the first inning, Hudson said: “I closed my eyes, and Jackie Robinson carried me the rest of the way.”
