Fans of the minor-league Albuquerque (N.M.) Isotopes, the Dodgers’ Triple-A affiliate, broke their own hot-dog eating record Monday night by downing 37,669 — or 3.42 dogs for each of the 11,110 fans — at the team’s seventh annual 50-Cent Hot Dog Extravaganza, shattering the 2003 mark of 35,468.
Tuesday’s game, we assume, featured the equally popular Tums and Pepto Bismol Night.
