Dodgers take the rubber game 6-3

Chad Billingsley fought to toss seven solid innings, allowing only two earned runs before giving way to Ramon Troncoso in the eighth. Troncoso was lights out, and so was closer Jonathan Broxton in striking out the side in the ninth.

The Dodgers notched two insurance runs off Texas lefty Eddie Guardado in the seventh via RBI singles by James Loney and Brad Ausmus. The Dodgers, even without much offense -- scoring only nine runs in the series -- managed to find a way to take the series in Arlington. They move to 42-22 while the Rangers fall to 35-27.

L.A. has an off day tomorrow before taking on Oakland Tuesday-Thursday. Free general parking all three days at Dodger Stadium!
