Final: Dodgers win 5-2

| | Comments (0) |

Another impressive victory for LA on Tuesday night, as Hiroki Kuroda turned in his best start of the season and the offense did enough to secure the victory over the host White Sox.

Kuroda nearly went the distance, going 8 2/3 innings before being removed for Jonathan Broxton. Kuroda didn't walk a batter throughout and allowed only four hits and two runs. He threw only 103 pitches. Broxton got his 18th save by striking out Jim Thome with a runner on third.

After an Orlando Hudson RBI double and James Loney two-run homer, the Dodgers offense was stagnant until the eighth inning, when Casey Blake hit a two-out two-RBI single to score Hudson and Mitch Jones.

The game time was only 2:28. Randy Wolf vs. Gavin Floyd tomorrow.
