No batting practice, no problem

After a long road trip, a long flight home from Atlanta Sunday night and a loss to the Brewers Monday, Dodgers manager Joe Torre gave his team a break from batting practice Tuesday.

Needless to say, it’s had a positive affect. The Dodgers scored five runs in the first inning, slamming Brewers starter Yovani Gallardo for five hits, including doubles by Casey Blake and Russell Martin.
