Twitter had a field day with Super Bowl Sunday and its super subplots – the commercials, Beyoncé’s halftime show, the power outage, the holding non-call that potentially cost the 49ers a victory, the Harbaugh-Harbuagh coaching matchup … wait, did you hear the two coaches are brothers?
Several Dodgers players are on Twitter and many took the time to chime in.
Matt Kemp, an unabashed 49ers fan, was in the Superdome to see the Baltimore Ravens’ 34-31 win in person. On a typical Sunday on his couch, Kemp will tweet more about his team. Since he was at the game this time, we’re guessing Kemp was busy, you know, watching the game. He did offer this rally cry afterward:
Damn!!! My @49ers played they hearts out! We will be back. The best @nfl game I have ever been 2 in my life. #NinerFaithful all day!

Was Kemp busy watching the game? Or was he …

Dee Gordon offered his own theory on the power outage. (For the Ripken reference, read this.)
Mannn @raylewis and @beyonce was killing the 9ers so #AlexSmith pulled a #Ripken lmao #LightsOut

This was a common sentiment after the game was over:
Thank god that’s over!! 9 days till pitchers and catchers report.

In the end, Tommy Lasorda picked the winner:
Can’t wait for a great game. My Superbowl pick? Harbaugh.
