Rookie-league Ogden begins season today with several recent draft picks on the roster.

The short-season Rookie league Ogden Raptors begin play today. Several members of the Dodgers’ 2014 draft class will be on the roster: pitchers John Richy (third round), Brock Stewart (sixth round), Ryan Taylor (13th) and Joe Broussard (15th); outfielders Colin Hering (10th round), Devin Ahart (16th) and Brian Wolfe (20th); and infielders Ivan Vela (21st) and Jimmy Allen (24th).

The club is managed by former Cy Young Award winner Jack McDowell.

The Dodgers have two other short-season Rookie league affiliates: The Arizona League Dodgers, which begin play Friday and the Dominican Summer League Dodgers, which began play May 31.
