Dodgers demote Pedro Baez to Triple-A Albuquerque to accommodate Kevin Correia.

Pedro Baez was sent to Triple-A Albuquerque to make room for new acquisition Kevin Correia. Baez made two appearances during the Dodgers’ current road trip, pitching a scoreless inning in each.

If Correia moves back to the bullpen after his spot start Monday, the Dodgers’ relief corps will again consist of six right-handers and left-hander J.P. Howell.

Baez has a 4.50 ERA (4 IP/2 ER) in his first major-league season.
