Dodgers announce pitching matchups for series against San Diego Padres.

The Dodgers announced the pitching matchups for their three-game series against the San Diego Padres.

On Monday, right-hander Odrisamer Despaigne (3-5, 3.06) will oppose left-hander Clayton Kershaw (17-3, 1.70). On Tuesday, right-hander Andrew Cashner (2-7, 2.39) will oppose right-hander Roberto Hernandez (8-10, 4.00). On Wednesday, right-hander Ian Kennedy (10-12, 3.75) will oppose right-hander Dan Haren (12-10, 4.17), who’s throwing his bullpen session right now.

All three games begin at 7 p.m. and will be televised exclusively on SportsNet LA.

The Dodgers faced Kennedy and Cashner — and lost to both pitchers — last week in San Diego. Despaigne allowed two runs over seven innings in his only career appearance against the Dodgers, a loss on July 10 at Dodger Stadium.
