Clayton Kershaw will start Game 4 of NLDS for Dodgers.

Just kidding.

After saying for days that right-hander Dan Haren would start Game 4 of the National League Division Series, Dodgers manager Don Mattingly reversed course and will give the ball to Game 1 starter Clayton Kershaw on three days’ rest.

Oh, and that’s “pretty much” been the plan since the beginning of the series:

The game will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday by virtue of the Washington Nationals’ victory over the San Francisco Giants in Game 3 of their NL Division Series on Monday. Fox Sports 1 has the broadcast.
