Report: Dodgers nab two Boston Red Sox executives.

The Dodgers added a pair of executives, both from the Boston Red Sox’s front office, according to this tweet Monday:

The Red Sox had this on Finley in their 2014 media guide:

David Finley was promoted to Director, Player Personnel in November 2011. Finley previously served as Special Assistant to the General Manager beginning in January 2010 after spending five years as the Red Sox National Crosschecker. Finley joined the Boston organization as the West Coast Crosschecker prior to the 2002 season. Previously, he was an area scout for the Padres (1991-94) and Marlins (1995-2001). Finley was named Red Sox Scout of the Year in 2007 and received the same honor with the Marlins in 2000.

Finley played at the University of Arizona in 1985 before transferring to UC Riverside where he was named 1st team All American in 1986 and 1987. He was drafted by Oakland in the 1987 amateur draft and played two seasons in the A’s system. Finley resides in San Diego with his wife; Tricia, daughters, Brooke (23) and Brittany (20); and son, Drew (17).

Here’s the blurb on Carr:

Galen enters his 15th season with the Red Sox organization and his 3rd season as a Special Assignment Scout, having formerly served as a major league scout from 2007-11 and as a pro scout in 2006. Prior to those positions, Carr was the club’s Advance Scouting Coordinator from 2003-05 and was an Advance Scouting Administrator from 2001-02. A pitcher at Colby College, he joined the Red Sox organization prior to the 2000 season as an intern.

Galen and his wife, Jennifer, live in Burlington, VT with their son, Miles, and daughter, Zoë.
