Barney, Rodriguez, Baez, Garcia make Dodgers’ Opening Day roster

Relief pitchers Paco Rodgiguez, Yimi Garcia and Pedro Baez won the last three spots in the Dodgers bullpen when the final 25-man roster was announced after Saturday night’s final exhibition game. The trio beat out David Aardsma, David Huff and Sergio Santos.

Infielder Darwin Barney won the only other position seemingly in doubt while Kike Hernandez was ironically optioned to Triple-A minutes after the rookie hit the game-tying solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning of the Dodgers 6-6 tie with the Angels Saturday night in the final exhibition game before the regular season begins on Monday.
