Monday night’s walk-off hero, Alex Guerrero, is back on the bench as promised, with Juan Uribe returning to the Dodgers’ starting lineup Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners after missing the last two games with a minor hamstring injury.

Here is Uribe taking ground balls at third base prior to the game:

Guerrero has four hits, including a home run and a double, in his first 11 at-bats this season. But one strong weekend isn’t enough to displace Uribe as the Dodgers’ starting third baseman, manager Don Mattingly said.

“Pretty much. We all know a lot of what we try to do is we’re going to defend and Alex has done a really good job,” Mattingly said, “but before the game last night they were handing out (Wilson defensive player of the year) awards and Juan won that. And he had a really good year for us last year. This is not a guy you just toss aside. He had a good year for us offensively, we thought. Defensively he’s a big part of what we do. A couple of games aren’t going to change what we’re trying to do.”

Veteran utility infielder Justin Turner is back to 100 percent after dealing with an injury to his left index finger, Mattingly said. Turner flew out in his only plate appearance Monday but didn’t appear in the field.
