Game 14: The Giants sweep the Dodgers, and Alex Guerrero stays hot.

Mike Bolsinger

Mike Bolsinger threw 5 2/3 innings in his Dodgers debut and did not allow a run until his final pitch. (Nhat V. Meyer/Bay Area News Group)

You could almost count the bright spots from a three-game sweep in San Francisco on one hand.

Mike Bolsinger looked really good in his Dodgers debut and might have earned a second start. (Hear from Bolsinger and Dodgers manager Don Mattingly “>here.)

Alex Guerrero hit his second home run in as many games. If you think he should be the Dodgers’ starting third baseman, Mattingly had a message for YOU before the game.

The recap is here. The box score is here. The photo gallery is here.

I also enjoyed this piece on Medium.com about the statistical implications of the (blown?) non-call that went against the Dodgers in the ninth inning Wednesday.
