DENVER — Dodgers right fielder Yasiel Puig is scheduled to resume his Single-A rehab assignment today and tomorrow with Rancho Cucamonga. The Quakes are playing the High Desert Mavericks in the beautiful metropolis of Adelanto.

Puig will play the field the next two days, Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said.

“I think seven (innings) today then six tomorrow (or vice versa). One of the two, if it goes well,” Mattingly said.

Puig is eligible to be activated from the 15-day disabled list Sunday but he is not expected to rejoin the Dodgers until they return home Monday, at the earliest.
