Yasiel Puig’s MRI exam is Monday, not today.

DENVER — If you’re on pins and needles waiting for the outcome of Yasiel Puig‘s MRI exam, wait another day.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Saturday the MRI would happen today, but he corrected himself today and said the exam has always been scheduled for Monday.

Puig left his rehab assignment Saturday with tightness in his left hamstring. Today was the first day Puig was eligible to return from the 15-day disabled list.
