Denver forecast calls for a chance of rain tonight.

DENVER — One of these days, the Dodgers will go on a road trip and I won’t have to relay any information about the weather forecast. Today is not that day.

The Dodgers are scheduled to play four games over the next three days here, including a doubleheader Tuesday. That’s because on their last visit to Denver the middle game of a three-game series was rained out.

Today’s game is scheduled to begin at 6:40 p.m. Mountain Time. According to weather.com, that’s about the worst possible time to attempt to begin a baseball game in downtown Denver today:

Hey, don’t blame Brett Anderson. He isn’t pitching this series.

The clouds will dissipate, and the threat of rain will disappear, over the next two days — if the forecast is to be believed.

We’ll check in with Dodgers manager Don Mattingly in a couple hours to get an update.
