Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez is second to the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Paul Goldschmidt in the latest fan voting update for the 2015 All-Star Game. Gonzalez — who had been in the lead since the first votes were released to the public — now has 1,882,725 votes to Goldschmidt’s 2,010,049.

After a scorching start to the season, Gonzalez now trails Goldschmidt in all of the most widely used statistical categories: home runs (16 to 11), RBIs (47 to 39), batting average (.340 to .329), on-base percentage (.466 to .407) and slugging percentage (.650 to .589). Goldschmidt even has a better WAR (3.8 to 2.7)

The next vote tallies will be released June 23 and June 30. The game is July 12.

Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal moved into fifth place among National League catchers, while Howie Kendrick is fourth among second basemen. Joc Pederson is 10th among outfielders.
