Dodgers sign undrafted college pitcher Wesley Helsabeck.

In addition to agreeing to terms with 24 of their 42 draft picks, the Dodgers signed a pair of undrafted free agents: infielder Nick Sell (reported here Saturday) and pitcher Wesley Helsabeck, who just completed his senior season at Winston-Salem State University.

Helsabeck, a left-hander, pitched 13 games as a senior, starting 10. He struck out 61 batters and walked 27 in 59 ⅔ innings and limited opposing hitters to a .230 average.
