Dodgers bullpen coach Chuck Crim remembers former teammate Darryl Hamilton.

Dodgers bullpen coach Chuck Crim played with Darryl Hamilton in the Milwaukee Brewers organization from 1987-91. Hamilton was found dead yesterday in an apparent murder-suicide.

“Great guy,” Crim said of Hamilton. “Probably one of the best guys you could meet. Great player.”

Crim said he was shocked to learn the news when his wife told him Monday morning.

“I couldn’t believe it,” he said. “To happen to a guy like that – you’d never expect a guy like that to be in a position like that.”
