Dodgers first half grades: Get out your red pens.

The Dodgers have the third-best record in the National League and a 4 ½-game lead in the West division. Two players on the disabled list (Carl Crawford and Carlos Frias) are close to joining the 25-man roster. So is Hector Olivera. The farm system is stronger than it’s been in years, and will soon yield some young major leaguers — if not an impact player at the trade deadline.

So, straight A’s here, right?

Well, before I type up my midseason report for Wednesday’s editions, I thought I would ask my readers here to grade what they’ve seen so far. Six categories, A through F, nice and simple. Go.
