NEW YORK — The Mets didn’t stand a chance against Clayton Kershaw. Their cleanup hitter, John Mayberry, Jr., had a .565 OPS. Their number-five hitter, Eric Campbell, clocked in at a whopping .587. They played the game anyway and Kershaw threw six perfect innings before allowing a hit. The Dodgers won 3-0. The box score is here.

Zack Greinke isn’t starting tomorrow because his wife is giving birth; Ian Thomas is going instead.
