Dodgers’ Alex Guerrero undergoes MRI exam on left leg.

PHOENIX — Alex Guerrero had an MRI exam on his left leg one day after the utilityman exited the Dodgers’ 12-4 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks with a strain.

Manager Don Mattingly didn’t have the results of the MRI available during his pregame media scrum, but Guerrero took ground balls and batting practice on Saturday afternoon.

The strain is apparently between Guerrero’s calf and hamstring, “behind the knee there,” Mattingly said.
