DENVER — Pitcher Jim Johnson returned to the Dodgers and is available for the series finale against the Colorado Rockies. Johnson and his wife welcomed the birth of the couple’s third child, a girl named Charlie Elizabeth, on Thursday.
“I think I slept more last night than the last four combined,” Johnson said.
The Dodgers’ bullpen has pitched a combined nine innings in the first two games of the series, so don’t be surprised to see Johnson get into the game at some point today.
Johnson is 0-3 with a 10.59 earned-run average (17 IP, 20 ER) in 21 games with the Dodgers.
