New York Mets add Matt Reynolds to their National League Division Series roster.

The Mets will turn to a player who’s never appeared in a major league game to replace Ruben Tejada on their active roster.

Matt Reynolds was officially added to the Mets’ playoff roster Monday. Reynolds, 24, played 92 games at the Triple-A level this season. He batted .267 with six home runs and 65 RBIs, and stole 13 bases in 17 attempts in 115 games for Las Vegas of the Pacific Coast League.

Wilmer Flores is expected to replace Tejada in the Mets’ starting lineup in Game 3 tonight.
