Justin Turner, Yasmani Grandal headed for surgery.

Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner will have arthroscopic surgery Thursday on his left knee to clean up loose bodies, the Dodgers announced, and catcher Yasmani Grandal will have arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder AC joint Tuesday.

Both procedures will be performed in Los Angeles by Dr. Neal ElAttrache and both players are expected to be ready for Spring Training.

Grandal batted .234 with a .353 on-base percentage this season. He collected only five hits — including the playoffs — after his left shoulder was injured on a foul tip during an early August road trip.

Turner slashed .294/.370/.491 in his first season as the Dodgers’ everyday third baseman. He played through a foul ball off his left knee late in the season, avoiding the disabled list entirely this year save for a skin infection. He did not take batting practice before games 3 or 4 of the National League Division Series.
