Kiké Hernandez undergoes shoulder clean-up, expected to be healthy by spring training.

Dodgers utility player Kiké Hernandez underwent an arthroscopic debridement (clean up) of his right shoulder today, the team announced. Team physician Dr. Neal ElAttrache performed the 30-min procedure.

According to a team spokesperson, Hernandez will begin his physical therapy next week and is expected to be fully recovered prior to the beginning of spring training.

Hernandez, 24, batted .307 with seven home runs and 22 RBIs in 76 games for the Dodgers in 2015. He missed 26 games while on the disabled list recovering from a strained left hamstring in August and September, then healed in time to play five regular-season games plus the playoffs.
