Carl Crawford to begin rehab assignment next Wednesday.

Carl Crawford has been cleared to resume the full range of baseball activities, a good sign five days after the outfielder was placed on the disabled list with lower back tightness.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Crawford will begin a minor league rehab assignment next Wednesday, a week from today, then rejoin the team once he’s active in Denver.

The location of Crawford’s rehab stint is to be determined.
