Andre Ethier has CT scan on right tibia.

Andre Ethier is in Los Angeles this week for a CT scan on his fractured right tibia. Ethier said he had the scan this morning but is still waiting for team physician Dr. Neal ElAttrache to read the results.

Potentially, Ethier could begin weight-bearing exercises on an Alter-G machine soon if the results of the scan allow. But that’s getting a bit ahead of ourselves. For now, Ethier can put weight on his right leg while walking with crutches. He said he’s been able to do that for about two weeks.

Ethier was given a 10-to-14 week timetable for recovery when he fouled a ball of his leg March 22.
