Minor league pitcher Sebastian Martinez suspended 72 games.

Sebastian Martinez, a 20-year-old pitcher on the Dodgers’ Dominican Summer League roster, received a 72-game suspension today after testing positive for Stanozolol and Furosemide. The suspension effectively wipes out his entire regular season, which consists of 72 games.

Martinez appeared in eight games last season, all as a reliever. The new DSL season is scheduled to begin June 4.
