Scott Van Slyke goes 0 for 4 in debut at Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Scott Van Slyke played six innings at first base and went 0 for 4 in his first rehab game with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Van Slyke will rejoin the Dodgers no sooner than June 3, when the team returns home from a seven-game road trip to New York and Chicago, manager Dave Roberts said this afternoon.

Van Slyke, who’s missed the last six weeks with a lower back injury, was scheduled to play nine innings. But he only needed six innings to rack up four plate appearances in tonight’s game, which the Fresno Grizzlies were winning 13-2 at the time Van Slyke was removed.
