Clayton Kershaw pitched eight strong innings, Justin Turner hit a solo home run in the ninth inning to break a 2-2 tie, and Kenley Jansen saved a 3-2 Dodgers win over the San Francisco Giants. The box score is here.

Confidence in Julio Urias is brimming on the eve of his Sunday start.

Rounds 3-10 of the draft were today. Here’s some background on the eight new Dodgers. I heard that at least one has already agreed to terms, though the team hasn’t officially announced anything yet.

Here are some eye-popping Kershaw notes from tonight. They seem to pop up every fifth day:

  • Kershaw improved to 10-3 with a 1.30 ERA (18 earned runs, 125 innings pitched) in 17 career games (16 starts) at AT&T Park.
  • He recorded 13 strikeouts tonight, marking his eighth double-digit strikeout game this season (last: May 29 at NYM).
  • Three of Kershaw’s five home runs allowed this season have been hit by San Francisco Giants players (Ehire Adrianza and Madison Bumgarner on April 9 and Matt Duffy tonight).
