Yasiel Puig (hamstring) is available off the Dodgers’ bench against Tampa Bay.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Yasiel Puig is available to pinch hit for the second consecutive day.

Puig hasn’t played since last Thursday because of a sore right hamstring. Roberts said he was hesitant to use Puig in last night’s 3-2 win and didn’t sound eager to use him again today. It’s still possible that Puig will be placed on the disabled list retroactively, though that seems less likely by the day.

Scott Van Slyke is starting in right field against Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Matt Moore, a left-hander.

Puig is hitting .255 with seven home runs and 32 RBIs this season.
