Grade the Dodgers at the non-waiver trade deadline (poll).

The Dodgers had a busy day Monday, acquiring Josh Reddick, Rich Hill, Jesse Chavez and Josh Fields in four separate trades. Click on each player’s name to learn more about him.

No trades involved top prospects Julio Urias, Jose De Leon, Cody Bellinger or Alex Verdugo, all of whom drew interest from other teams. Yasiel Puig remains a Dodger too, even after the club told his representatives they would try to trade him — or option him to Triple-A today if they couldn’t.

Columnist Mark Whicker believes that impatient fans are likely to be dissatisfied with Monday’s trades. What say you?

Note that all MLB teams can use the rest of this month to trade players via the waiver process, too. Chase Utley was placed on waivers before he became a Dodger last August; Adrian Gonzalez became a Dodger after the Boston Red Sox placed him on waivers in August 2012. The grade is inherently incomplete, but let’s just focus on Monday for now.
