Pitcher Walker Buehler, the Dodgers’ first-round draft pick of a year ago, threw two scoreless innings his professional debut for the Arizona League Dodgers on Tuesday night.
Buehler, 22, did not allow a hit or a walk. He struck out three batters and lit up the radar gun according to multiple reports:
Walker Buehler up to 97 in two innings of work.

So Buehler was 95-97, touched 98 on one gun, slider/cutter 91-93, curveball looks great.

2 perfect inn for Walker Buehler (3 Ks). FB 96-98, low 90s cutter and good curveball. #Dodgers

Buehler was diagnosed with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow shortly after the Dodgers drafted him, and he underwent Tommy John surgery in September of last year.
