The Dodgers will begin the 2017 regular season at home with a series against the San Diego Padres from April 3-6, and end in Colorado on Oct. 1. Those were just a few of the details revealed Wednesday, when Major League Baseball released a preliminary schedule for all 30 teams.
The Dodgers will also host four interleague opponents: Anaheim (June 26-27), Kansas City (July 7-9), Minnesota (July 24-26) and the Chicago White Sox (Aug. 15-16). Their interleague travels will take them to Anaheim (June 28-29), Cleveland (June 13-15), Chicago (July 18-19) and Detroit (Aug. 18-20).
ESPN will select one game for a prime-time telecast on Sunday, April 2. The network will announce that game in the coming weeks; it’s possible that the Dodgers-Padres game tentatively scheduled for April 3 would be moved up a day for this telecast.
The Dodgers will join all Major League clubs in celebrating Jackie Robinson Day on Saturday, April 15 and host the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The 2017 All-Star Game is July 11 in Miami.
