The drought continues

Three innings in, and the boys still haven't scored a run, despite the fact their leadoff batter has reached base in every inning, including Wilson Valdez twice. Derek Lowe gave up doubles to the first two batters he faced, eventually leading to two first-inning runs, but he settled in quite nicely from there and has retired nine consecutive batters since then.
