Diamondbacks 8, Dodgers 7
A loss is a loss is a loss, no matter how furiously you rally in the late innings, and this was a HUGE loss for the Dodgers. They fall to 58-52, the first time they have been no more than six games over .500 since May 22, when they were 26-20, and they fall three games behind the Snakes, their biggest deficit of the season. Great Arcade,
You're right on the money. But it might be more than a little difficult to pry Scioscia away from the Angels. Besides, if Logan White was to become the GM, he would probably want to choose his own manager. And I would trust his judgment.
The other benefit would be the inevitable shakeup in the coaching staff.

Mike Scioscia was born and breed to be the manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Give him a share of the team, anything. It's long over due. I'm tired of Grady Little lack of urgency or what seems to be just a lazy approach to managing.
His idea of an offensive spark is batting Olmedo Sanez 4th. Give me a break.
