Another Cactus League game is set

Why the Dodgers are holding off announcing that they plan to spend the final two weeks of spring training in PHX is beyond me. Add the Colorado Rockies, who are scheduled to host the Dodgers on March 23 at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson, to the growing list of Cactus League clubs that have finalized their spring schedules with the Dodgers listed as one of their opponents. The Dodgers also have games scheduled with the Chicago White Sox on March 20 and Kansas City on March 26. But when the Dodgers do finally announce this, just humor them and pretend to be surprised, OK?

Why, Tony, you know it's so as not to tick off the folks in Vero anymore than they already are! I'd love to get over to see that game vs. KC ... the stadium in Surprise is one of the best in AZ -- the grandstand is actually in the SHADE for a day game!

Glad you're back.

I will make sure I pretend to be surprised, Tony. Now that spring training games are almost within a reasonable driving distance from me, I kinda want to go to one.

Make sure you wear that hawaiian shirt so I can pick you out in the crowd, and I want to try one of those cookies Kent so famously raved about. (just kidding)

Can you please consider asking questions about the following (I'm no journalist but perhaps there's a story in one of these):

Get someone from management to state their perceived role of Nomar on next years club.

Has the club talked to Nomar about whether he'd like to be moved if no starting position is available for him.

Ask Kent, Pierre, or Nomar out of all the young players on the club, who is the guy they think they as veterans could learn the most from. Then what and why that.

Ask Saito a bunch of questions about what Kuroda is like and what he thinks Kuroda would bring to the team if he signs with the dodgers.

Ask Pierre if the criticism he's received in some of his press motivates him or gets him down and what he plans to improve in his game.

Also ask him if he feels his better second half numbers are from having adapted to his new park.

You've probably already thought of these questions yourself, but as a reader these are the questions most on my mind (besides the who are the dodgers going to sign or trade for).
