Dodgers invite three to camp

Happy New Year, everyone. I'm back from vacation, so I'll try to update this blog fairly often beginning today. The Dodgeres have signed lefty Matt Riley, righty Alfredo Simon and outfielder George Lombard to minor-league contracts and invited them to major-league spring training. Riley was with the organization last year at Triple-A Las Vegas. Simon spent the season with Texas' Triple-A Oklahoma City affiliate, Lombard with Washington's Triple-A Columbus affiliate.

Happy New Year Tony!! Glad to see you are back in business!!
Hey, I see that Furcal is playing some 2b in the Dominican winter league. Any chance LA re-signs him after the season to play 2b with Hu to play SS? They would make a nice defensive infield up the middle with Jones in CF and Martin catching.
Please make my new year and tell me there is a chance that LA's starting outfield will be Ethier-Jones-Kemp come Opening Day!! And LaRoche starts at 3b!!
Looking forward to a good 2008 for the boys in blue!!

Welcome back....look forward to your regular updates

Welcome back... We missed you Tony Jackson! Let's get back to work and start talking about the 2008 season.
