I'm catching a redeye to Atlanta tonight, then an early morning connector to Melbourne, then a 45-minute rental car drive to Vero, where I expect to arrive around noon tomorrow. Not planning on checking in at Dodgertown until late Wednesday morning. There is a press conference with Torre on Wed. at 1, which is expected to draw a national media contingent, and I'm sure a handful of players will already be there. Thursday is mandatory reporting day for pitchers and catchers. For a variety of reasons, I'm probably not going to be posting the 6-8 times a day that I did last spring.
