Dodgers 3, Brewers 3
For the first time since last Thursday, the Dodgers didn't lose. They stopped after nine, what with it being getaway day and all. Clayton Kershaw was brilliant again, pitching three shutout innings and allowing one hit against one of the best lineups in the league. Penny walked five in three innings in his final start of the spring, but one can hardly blame him for looking ahead to Monday, when he gets the ball for the opener. Scott Proctor retired all four batters he faced. The boys come home 9-17-3 for the spring. I come home tired and with a really bad cold, but otherwise ready for action. See you Thursday night in Anaheim.

Congrats to Juan Pierre for getting a hit. Sad that 1-for-4 is a good game for out leadoff hitter.

Thanks Tony for great coverage (even though we disagree with you about the outfield)

Tony-I just read for the 2nd time in a week that Billingsley is hiding an injury. Either that, or LA knows about it, but keep sending him out there with post game excuses like he is "working on his changeup".
Any truth? Buster Olney is the first to have reported it, from what I understand.
I guess Kershaw will be up the moment he goes down.

rayg - it's Will Carroll that continuously claims that Billingsley is a "health risk". Like most pitchers aren't. Please. On TV the last time, his command seemed a little off, but his speed was fine. I very much doubt that Dodger brass will take chances with a young arm like Billingsley's.
Tony- thanks for keeping up on the blogging as well as the reporting. I may not always agree with your opinions, but you and your fellow beat writers are still the lifeline of information for us FANatics.
