Today should be the day Pierre starts. Look at his line against Doug Davis..
11-26 (.426), 3 2B, 1 3B, 5 RBI and, ready for this one? 3 walks!
Jones should be on the bench today in favor of Pierre. And I don't say that often.

Ryan, I'm inclined to agree with you, but this Pierre doesn't deserve to start. Not that this Jones deserves to either, but hopefully Jones can get it going. One thing to look for is Davis' incredible pickoff move, even if Pierre got on base, he'd have major difficulty trying to steal, it is wicked.

Pierre shouldn't be out there against the bad news bears! Four fly outs on Sunday, and he got the start again yesterday; You've got to be kidding me!
At least Jones might get lucky and hit one over the fence, Pierre won't.

Pierre deserves to be a pinch runner, nothing more.

Pierre shouldn't start in place of anyone. Personally, I would start Delwyn Young before Pierre.
Tony,
Has it occurred to anyone that part of the Dodger hitting woes might be the result of their disrupted spring training? Sending half the squad to China, and dividing exhibition play between Vero and Arizona/LA could have upset more than a few internal clocks. The fact that this occurred in a transition year (new manager and some new coaches) likely didn't help matters.
