UCLA has done something Dodgers haven’t …

won a baseball championship in the last 25 years! The UCLA Bruins were honored by the Dodgers on Thursday after winning the College World Series on Tuesday. UCLA players took to the field while Phillies players were stretching, then watched their batting practice. They also chatted with former Bruin Chase Utley.
The Dodgers haven’t won a World Series since 1988.

Mattingly compared Hanley Ramirez to which other Ramirez?

Manny. You know, the Manny being Manny one.
Ramirez is batting .485 with two doubles, four home runs and 11 RBI during his last nine games.
“Hanley’s really good. None of this stuff surprises me,” Mattingly said. “He can really hit. I was watching him tonight, and I’m thinking of Manny (Ramirez). Honestly, when you see him you think like that. He’s that good. He’s a special talent.”

Guess what Dodgers just did?

They won again…
Yasiel Puig had three hits, Clayton Kershaw allowed two runs
in eight innings, and Kenley Jansen did the rest.
And Hanley Ramirez had another RBI, stolen base, two hits, and well,
he continued his tear.
The Dodgers swept the Giants for the first time in LA since 2009.
The Dodgers have won five in a row.
Kershaw got a win for the first time in one month.
The Dodgers seem to be having more fun these days, and it shows in the wins.
