Zack Greinke, Clayton Kershaw share National League Player of the Week honors.

Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw didn’t have the best day Tuesday at the All-Star Game in Cincinnati, but each pitched very well once the regular season resumed.

So well, in fact, they were named National League co-Players of the Week on Monday. The week consisted of games Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Clayton Kershaw nominated for Best Baseball Player at ESPY Awards.

Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw, who last year won the National League MVP and Cy Young Awards, has been nominated for an award he will not fully enjoy if he wins.

Kershaw is up against Madison Bumgarner, Corey Kluber, Giancarlo Stanton and Mike Trout in the 2015 ESPY Award for Best Baseball Player. ESPN announced its nominees for the annual awards Wednesday morning; the complete list is here. Voting closes when the live show starts July 15.

Clayton Kershaw is the National League co-Player of the Week.

Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw was named co-Player of the Week in the National League for the week ending Sunday. Kershaw won both his starts, Monday and Saturday. The Dodgers won only one other game all week.

New York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom shared the award with Kershaw.
