Dodgers sign Rich Hill for three years, $48 million.

The Dodgers have re-signed pitcher Rich Hill to a three-year, $48 million contract.

According to the Associated Press, Hill received a $2 million signing bonus plus $12 million in 2017, $16 million in 2018 and $18 million in 2019, when he turns 39 years old.

Adrian Gonzalez among confirmed participants in 2017 World Baseball Classic.

First baseman Adrian Gonzalez was the only Dodgers player listed among the confirmed participants in the 2017 World Baseball Classic, released Monday by MLB. Gonzalez has played for Team Mexico every year a WBC has been staged. His brother, Edgar, is the manager.

Mexico is in a pool with Italy, Venezuela and Puerto Rico, and has the advantage of beginning pool play on home soil. The WBC begins March 7 and concludes with the semifinals and championship game at Dodger Stadium, March 20-22.

Dodgers non-tender Louis Coleman, making him a free agent.

Louis Coleman was not tendered a contract offer by Friday’s 5 p.m. deadline, making him a free agent. The right-handed reliever was the club’s only non-tender candidate to hit the open market Friday.

That means that catcher Yasmani Grandal, outfielder/first baseman Darin Ruf, and pitchers Alex Wood, Vidal Nuno, Josh Fields and Luis Avilan remain without contracts in their arbitration-eligible years. The deadline for these players to exchange salary figures with the team is still more than a month away.

The Dodgers have 39 players on their 40-man roster, leaving them eligible to participate in the Rule 5 draft at next week’s Winter Meetings.

Coleman, who made the Dodgers as a non-roster invitee out of spring training, had a 4.69 ERA in 61 appearances out of the bullpen in 2016. He was left off the Dodgers’ playoff roster.

Dodgers re-sign Charlie Culberson.

The Dodgers re-signed utility player Charlie Culberson to a one-year contract Thursday. He will make $550,000.

Culberson, 27, slashed .284/.294/.373 in his first season as a Dodger, splitting the season between Los Angeles and Triple-A Oklahoma City. He only appeared in 38 major league games, but four came in the postseason and another in the Dodgers’ 10-inning win over the Rockies on Aug. 25, in which Culberson hit his only home run of the season to win the game and clinch a National League West title.

SInce he was not yet eligible for arbitration, Culberson was under no deadline to sign with the Dodgers this week.

Dodgers agree to terms with Chris Hatcher and Scott Van Slyke.

The Dodgers agreed to terms on one-year contracts with two players Thursday: pitcher Chris Hatcher and first baseman/outfielder Scott Van Slyke.

According to the Associated Press, Van Slyke’s deal is worth $1,325,000 and Hatcher’s contract is worth $1.25 million.
