Atlanta Braves shuffle rotation for three-game series against Dodgers.
ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves announced today that right-handed pitcher Williams Perez, who was scheduled to start the middle game of their three-game series against the Dodgers tomorrow, is starting tonight instead. He’ll be opposed by Dodgers left-hander Alex Wood.
Right-hander Julio Teheran is starting for the Braves tomorrow opposite Ross Stripling and right-hander Matt Wisler is starting Thursday’s game opposite Clayton Kershaw.
Dodgers activate Chris Hatcher, option Austin Barnes to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
The Dodgers will carry eight men in their bullpen for the foreseeable future and play the San Francisco Giants tonight with one fewer catcher than they had last week.
Austin Barnes was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City and Chris Hatcher was activated from the paternity list one day after his wife gave birth.
That means Adam Liberatore, who was recalled from Oklahoma City Thursday, will remain in the Dodgers bullpen as one of two left-handers along with veteran J.P. Howell. Manager Dave Roberts said he liked the idea of having two left-handed options against the San Francisco Giants and into next week against the Atlanta Braves as well. The Dodgers begin a three-game series in Atlanta on Tuesday.

Three-team trade between Dodgers, Braves, Marlins finalized.
A three-team, 13-player trade between the Dodgers, Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins is done.
As reported yesterday, the Dodgers would receive starting pitcher Mat Latos and outfielder Mike Morse from the Marlins, and pitchers Alex Wood, Luis Avilan, Jim Johnson, Bronson Arroyo and minor league utilityman Jose Peraza from the Braves.
Atlanta would receive minor league utilityman Hector Olivera from the Dodgers — who would reportedly pay all of the $62.5 million contract he signed in spring — as well as injured left-hander Paco Rodriguez, Single-A pitcher Zack Bird and a 2016 compensation-round draft pick from the Miami Marlins, currently 35th overall.
The Marlins would receive three minor league pitchers from the Dodgers: Jeff Brigham, Kevin Guzman and Victor Araujo, none of whom has advanced beyond high Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.
The Braves would reportedly pay some of Arroyo’s salary. The right-hander is on the 60-day disabled list recovering from Tommy John surgery in July 2014 and isn’t expected to pitch in a major league game until next year.
Reports: Hector Olivera, Atlanta Braves involved in Mat Latos/Mike Morse trade.
The Dodgers are on the verge of trading infielder Hector Olivera to the Atlanta Braves as part of a three-team trade that would bring Marlins pitcher Mat Latos to Los Angeles, plus Alex Wood and a major league reliever from the Braves — possibly Jim Johnson or Luis Avilan — according to multiple reports Wednesday night:
