Only one of the Dodgers’ first 13 draft picks had yet to sign a contract as of Friday. That loose end appears to be tied up after Vanderbilt pitcher Jordan Sheffield, the Dodgers’ compensation round pick (36th overall) posted this photo to his Instagram account Saturday:

Dodgers sign second-round draft pick Will Smith, 10th-round pick Kevin Lachance.

Add two more names to the Dodgers’ organizational ranks: Louisville catcher Will Smith and University of Maryland Baltimore College shortstop Kevin Lachance. Smith was the Dodgers’ second round pick and Lachance the Dodgers’ 10th-round pick in last week’s amateur draft.

Smith signed for $1.775 million, according to multiple reports. Lachance posted the news of his signing to his Instagram account Saturday.

The Dodgers are believed to have reach agreements with all but one of their first 10 draft picks, Vanderbilt pitcher Jordan Sheffield, who was taken with the 36th overall pick. They’ve signed 22 of their 42 picks overall.

The Dodgers selected Jordan Sheffield, a right-handed pitcher from Vanderbilt, with the 36th overall pick in the draft.

Sheffield was drafted out of the 13th round of the 2013 draft out of high school but opted to attend college instead. He ultimately redshirted his freshman year because he had Tommy John surgery.
